Laura Rawden

Laura Owings Rawden is a science communicator and founder of Cape Town-based media agency, Locomedia. With a background in research and international media, she specialises in crafting engaging stories around technical and in-depth information. Her passion is the intersection between development goals, entrepreneurialism and social justice in developing countries, specifically sub-Saharan Africa. She is also an outspoken proponent for supporting and uplifitng Black African womxn in STEMI. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and a Master's degree in International Journalism & Media.
